Hi guys.

Do you know any cheap place in London to sand blast wheels?

Got a set of 17", which I thought sand down by hand but it turned up bad, pain full to thumbs and time consuming idea.

Got plenty scuffs and kerb marks from previous lady owners and need to restore them.

Any better price than £25 pw?

Sand blasting isn't advised on Alloy wheels due to the reaction it can cause on the alloy, they'll eventually bubble and corrode under the paint.

The best idea would be to soda blast or bead blast them for best results.

As for someone to do it i'm afraid I don't know of anyone.

I think sand blast was just a generic term the op was using. It's media blasting these days don't you know lol.

Where are you btw, I know someone who does it £35 a wheel including the powdercoating.

I'm in Isleworth or Balham, London.

£35 a piece with powder coat is fine but I need to fill the damages.

Been quoted £25 per wheel and £15-£55 for powder coat, depending on finish, when come back.
