Rear Washer - Hose Joint Broken - Source?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

For some time the rear washer jet hasn't been working in our Fabia. Initially we thought it may have frozen, but turns out it had been leaking into the boot lid(!). Upon inspection the plastic joint has cracked where it joins to the motor. Does anyone know where I can get one of these from or know a part number I could give to Skoda? I gather this is a fairly common part across the VAG range?

Picture to illustrate!

Thanks,

Steve

Hatchback = 1J0955875

Estate/Combi = 1J0955665C

Best to get the chassis number and get it from TPS to guarantee the correct part.

Thankyou very much! Do TPS sell to the general public?

They're not meant to but, I find that if you go in and say the garage sent you 'cos they didn't have time or, to help them out they just sent you along , they will generally sell to you, they might not be too generous with the discounts but, I doubt the part is mega expensive anyway.

You can also source the part from Skoda mate if they are closer or more convenient for you.

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, I imagine the part will be a couple of quid hopefully. Much appreciated in digging the part number out, it's hard to be descriptive on something so small!

Here is a link to getting the part numbers yourself http://vin-online.ru/ (if you want) it is in Russian but you can get almost instant translation to English (well I use google chrome and it does a translation) and it's very helpfull.
