No worries Si, if you are after a bespoke exhaust I know a guy who makes what you want, he is a first class guy and he also has an extremely fast Beetle, take a look HERE

I will be looking for something for the `4mo soon too, it sounds so tame it is quite sad!

I have a BMC CDA filter, I might throw that on for a while, I know it will make no difference other than noise but who cares.

that is the same as I had on the GTI MK 3, a flexi pipe with a cone, some super glued on pipes and wires, worked though. I got the CDA on the Lupo we bought for my lad, for insurance reasons we have gone back to a standard air box.

Out of interest where do you get ducting from? I want to run some from the front grill to the hubs to keep the brakes cool, not too sure what to get as I usually just thrash cars and don't worry about it.

The Miltek resonated around 3,200rpm which was the problem. Had to sit on the motorway at 60 or 80. 70 was a no-no!

Found a few clips and they do sound nice. Not sure if I'd de-cat or sports cat prob the cheapest option with it being the best part of £500.

Which tailpipe option did you go for?

Yeah, the fit in the cut out was good, standard middle box issues on low cars though, had the pull up the middle box hangers.

Lights & grille colour coded, rear wiper, badge smoothed & plate recess frenched so it removes the lock & plinth as there not needed because boots dead locked & on a popper in the car.

Once the new tyres are on and it's lowered it's going back to have the rear arches done as there's a bit of rust which split when when we rolled them.
