Only ever seen one vento in that colour and its floating around on ed38 on Porsche rims

Keep us informed.

Good mileage that aswell. Mines on 164k and still pulls like train :)

Totally standard?

You'll be hooked! It's killing me not having this on the road and having to drive our lasses vrs.

Bad news I'm afraid, well I am still thinking about it, just a bigger project than I first thought... Drives incredibly well, nearly needed a change of boxers  .

However, the body work is terrible, hasn't been moved/used much in the last few years, left under a tree rotting effectively. The engine I think is perfectly fine, but like I say body work is terrible. Did contemplate putting the engine in the vRS... But think that'd be too much work if even possible.

So still umming and arring, but need to think hard and keep an eye out in case I can find something a bit more up to the standard I'd like.

That's a shame pal,

If it was the right price & time & money aren't an issue towards a project then it may be worth it?

On the other hand keep looking as there are bargains to be had.

Shame to hear that.

Just sent you a PM to one local to me, Good price and lots of MOT.

My transplant engine is on 150K+ and still puts others to shame.

Due to wheel colour change I've given the calipers a few coats of black as they'd have looked odd in orange against the new colour :)

Hopefully wheels back this week, still waiting on the rear shims being made then I can get all the other bits ordered up and get it back on the road ready for its mot.

Yes my friend :)

Should be even better once I get hold of a 6 branch :)

I will be canning off two manifolds over winter when the I put the snail down the back of the engine, if you are thinking the same a 6 branch would be a short lived piece of kit, just my thoughts but you should go straight for the turbo mod mate.

Had to order a fuel rail adapter for the fuel reg as there wasn't one and the seller claims to have fitted it without??...

How he did that I'll never know!

Had a look at seeing how it fits and its baffled me! I assume the adapter will pipe to the bottom of the reg as per oem same with the vac line but its the other outlet that's got me confused as to where it goes..

Looked for a guide but there's bugger all I can find!!

Just picked up a smoothed front bumper ie no plate recess or lights/indicator holes.

Same as

9B4C2428-978B-4CD5-B1CC-4BBB515DD0B1-422

Needs a bit of repair but the body shop can do that as I needs painting anyway.

Cheap aswell which is a bonus as all the hard work is done :)

Haha true.

All the plastic welding has been done which is a major faff trying to get the correct swage lines, its just some nice person has reversed into it with a towbar so needs skimming over again :)
