Best aftermarket discs and pads...

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'll probably be changing the discs and pads on my VRS TDI CR some time in the next 6 months, but I quite fancy some slightly better pads. Any recommendations on what to go for? Is it worth sticking with normal discs too or are there better ones?

Also, how easy are they to change on these cars? I've always done this kind of thing myself on all my previous cars so I'm not a complete novice.

Thanks dudes!

Just bought some drilled and grooved discs with rust protection from Mtec brakes and Mintex pads all round, cost £180.

Some say stick with OEM discs but invest in some top pads i.e. EBC Green, red or yellow stuff £100 all round or if you can justify the cost Ferodo DS2500 which are meant to be awesome with track quality for the road, £126 for just the front though!
