The guys in germany have been working on a VW Golf MK7 1.6TDI 105PS which uses the same new range of 1.6TDI's found in the Audi A3, Skoda Ovtavia III and Seat Leon (5F).

They achieved

129PS and 304nm of torque,

from a standard figure of 104PS and 250Nm of torque.

These figures were achieved using the CRD09 LDK aka the DTUK CRD-T module on a preset setting, without any adjustments made via the fine tuning.

If you'd bought the 105bhp engine and you really wanted the 150bhp engine then this option is the next best thing and cheaper than changing the car!

I won't mention the new car warranty implications in case someone gets all emotional about it......
