USB capacity on Amunsden +

Featured Replies

We have ordered a Fabia VRS which should be here in the next couple of weeks and have ordered this with the Amunsden unit.

I am going to order a couple of USB sticks to use with this through the MDI connection but would like to know what the maximum size USB sticks we can use. I've tried to find this out online but with no obvious answer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not the same headunit / car, but I succesfully used both a 64Gb USB stick and 320 gb hard drive with the Swing unit fitted to my MY 2012 Roomster SE+.

My current Yeti Urban has an Amundsen+ with which I use a 64Gb SDXC card (formatted to FAT32).

Seem to recall reading about a track limit of ~15000.

Hi pinkpanther, thanks for the reply, think I should be ok with 32gb then.

I ran an 80GB hard drive through the MDI on my last car.  Only issue is that it has to be formatted as FAT32 not NTFS.
