I had a chance to nip over and see the car at Simpsons Colne this lunchtime.  I'm not really interested in the estate, but wanted to check out the interior and get a feel for the Mk3 vRS in the flesh.

Walkers in kings lynn, have 2 estates in, one race blue dsg petrol, one hell of a kickdown, holds the current gear all the way round the rev range and one silver manual, possibally a diesel in the showroom. Both very nice to sit in. Not experienced the dsg system previously, but its a real nice system to use, its quick and almost seamless. Pleasure to drive, but still on a manual for myself, know its old school, but manual still gives you more control.

Ref the tail pipes issue raised earlier in the thread, thats gotta be the only downside of the look on the outside. Just makes them look like an after thought, 'right guys we need a nice looking exhaust set up' 'dont bother spending an extra £5 just slot them into the bumper, no will notice' doesn't spoil the overall look as unless you know they are there most people will not see it.

Seats supportive and the controls seem to fit well with the cabin layout, handbrake will need getting used to as it is over the cupholders, but just getting used to it really.

A lot of car for your money, quick, stylish, a lot of quality and good toys as standard. Good options are not too expensive as long as you dont want sat nav over standard as this is bit pricey, get a decent sat nav for £75-£130 as i am sure most people do not use it all the time.
