I love it ... sadly the new caravan we have on order might push us up to a Superb, not that that is a sacrifice its just I prefer the Yeti!

Any tech specs yet?  Particularly weight?

  • Well it's still an impressive car and it still is clearly a Yeti.  Just that the tiny bit they moved it on, does not warrant the cost-to-change numbers for me.  It has not remotely moved on enough fro

Yeti FL is really growing on me now, this looks like a proper tough nut!

Does anyone know if the Storm blue metallic colour has been discontinued?

^looks like Darth Vader?

Some nice little economy boosts across the range.

Very VW, Yeti seems to have lost a huge chunk of individuality. As to a new one, well will see how Cuthbert comes out of the workshop after having had a new air condtioning compressor (thank gawd that was in warranty) and hopefully they can cure his engine sounding like a bag of nails at tickover, well 0-10 mph...

32,000 miles he seems to be going through the change which is far too low a mileage... so its not whether its a new Yeti... whether its a new Skoda might be more appropriate (Loan car a Rapid - possibly one of the worst cars I have ever driven in the last 40 years, took it back to the dealers and walked home..)

I dont want to move away from Skoda as Progress Skoda have been excellent...

Just the car for Grr666?

City version in moon with a black roof puts me in mind of Snoopy.

So are the painted/contrast coloured roofs still an option on the FL?

Where? (Or do you mean the lower power 1.8TSi with DSG, which hasn't been available in the UK previously and which still hasn't been announced here I think - CO2 too high until stop/start comes in.)

150bhp version

189 g/km co2

29.4mpg

OK so you do mean: 'the lower power 1.8TSi with DSG, which hasn't been available in the UK previously and which still hasn't been announced here I think'

But this isn't new AFAIK, nor has there been any announcement about UK imports of this model. Or has there?

The lower power 1,8 DSG has been sold for eons in Russia and other places.  It is nothing new.

Still looks like a hearse to me  :wonder:

I'm surprised to see the old 122bhp 1.4TSi engine still in the engine lineup.  I thought they'd have replaced it with the newer 140bhp engine, as available in the Octavia.

Maybe they'll add it later when the older unit starts getting a bit more dated.

I'd be happy making my final journey in that. :hi:

Just make sure you (or your undertaker) specify the fold down passenger seat as your coffin won't fit otherwise!

I was hoping the facelift would get the ACT engine but sadly not. I doubt they will change it again now before the Yeti2 comes out.

I'm liking the black but would also consider red ... one of my Octavia vRS's was red and it always looked great despite never being polished.

:o Marie you naughty girl.

Well OK  but its a QUALITY hearse.

Forget the coffin just sit me in the passenger seat, I want to enjoy my last ride, not stuffed in the back with a load of smelly flowers

Wonder Matchbox hasn't been complaining yet about breach of design copyright with those new alloys :giggle:

Sorry I just don't get the idea of an outdoor version with an off highway capable 4x4 drive system, that is otherwise not really equipped for anything more adventurous than a cruise down the Autobahn.

TP

hey, that black one it's a beauty, got to have one
