Wind deflectors

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where to get wind deflectors, front and rear, for Octavia III combi?

www.superskoda.com have them - quite a good range of accessories, some OEM.

Edit - Noticed it's Hatch only as far as I can see not Combi.

Oh and superskoda now have them for the estate lol

I've decided to bump this thread, because I'm wondering if anyone has fitted some wind deflectors to their Octavia 3?

I'd like some because on more than one occasion I've had water come in and these would help eliminate that problem. But I don't know which brand to go for.

Do Skoda do them? I've heard of Climair & Heko, but there's some on Superskoda, but at nearly £50 delivered I was wondering if there's a slightly cheaper option.

Bump!

Has anyone fitted these yet and does anyone have any recommendations?

Fitted Heko manufactured ones to the previous Yeti but did not take to them personally. Didn't appear to be effective enough to justify the initial cost and there seemed to be a little more wind noise around the window when closed.

They look stupid. Much like summat from 1954

I have Heko deflectors fitted on my mk2 they look "fantastic" ^^^,fit perfectly and do an amazing job of not letting dammed water in that all modern cars seam so good at, apart from when I left window slightly down and started washing it:)

Only fitted for practical reasons not for looks, so if they are same quality for mk3 as mk2 you should be OK.

I'm afraid I agree with you.

Ah ok. So to summarise, you haven't fitted any and don't have any recommendations?

In that case I will be sure to take your opinion into consideration :P

I have team hekos fitted to my estate mk3 vrs. Gives a nice look and functional. From memory they were around 30 pounds delivered from eBay.

I had them on an Astra before....I would not recommend getting them as they loosened the whole window regulator. Think of the extra stress on window trying to close......seeing as you have reduced the size of the area it seats into when closed.

They do look nice..... but I would never try them again.

They make a nice looking motor look like a Morris Oxford owned by Mr Safely Richards from Penge

Or a car that escaped from a Heartbeat set!

I wonder if they do a matching peak sun visor for the the windscreen. That would be rather nice.

Got Team Heko ones fitted to the Fabia and the Yeti, good quality IMO. Both ordered from Towequipe in the UK, fast delivery.

Ignore the nay-sayers. ;) Hatere's gonna hate, YOLO etc etc.

I dunno, you ask a simple question....

I'm sure that can be arranged for you grandad.

they have a different make called G3 (made in Italt and very flexible)i have seen fitted and they look great Even a video to watch

Have put Heko's (front and back) on every car (5 in total) I've bought in the past 10 years, and just about to fit them on the vRS.

Hate driving in a sealed greenhouse, and they allow me to have the window open in even the most atrocious weather, so they're a must have in my books.

Never had any issues with the Heko's which are excellent quality, work great, are easy to fit, and what I would describe as discreet compared to the clunky and commercial looking ClimAir (and G3) ones.

Don't care if anyone thinks it makes the car look like a 'Morris Oxford'... they do a job, they do it well, and it's my 'Morris Oxford' of which I'm proud… so Yah Boo Sucks!!!  :moon:
