  • I've just sugested that on the prague thread, we did it successfully last year, why not spend the weekend at the ring on the way back? we are driving past after all!

  • Interest registered here. The last trips I organised some time ago, we rented out villas at the nearby Sunparks which worked out cheap cheap self catering for everyone.

We stayed at the hotel fuchsrohre (likely spelt wrong) who is an excellent host and very good for Ring fans.   Nice PS3 setup there too for multiplayer

I have never been, but i would defo be up for it

Depending on when it would be a yes

Been going for the last 14 years. Could be persuaded to go again though !

I've been twice in the last two years and hoping to go again next year. :) I'll try to keep my dates open in the hope I could join in with you guys!

I don't think I could have done it any cheaper to be honest. Stayed at a campsite which was 8 euros a night per person and a 6 pack of beer in Aldi was 1.49 euros!

Count me in!

Depending on when it is im in!

Are you all planning on going to a day when it's open to the public?

i went but only as a passenger. I'd Love to go back and drive my own car around there!

If I went I'd be tempted to hire something they have, at least for my first trip. One option is what a friend did. He bought a Mondeo TDCI for a grand, drove down to Monaco with his dad and back up via Switzerland to the ring, did a few laps and came home. Said it was a fantastic experience.

There's no other option really when going as a group.  Not sure when the 2014 TF days are announced but its not that long away I think.  I usually find out on Northloop forum when the first dates are released.

we had a fantastic time on the way back from the czeck road trip last year :) we found a lovely b&b too! :)

and Martyn, it was not at all frightening driving round, I found it more relaxing than being at castle combe! lol.... we had quite a quiet day though i thiink....

It's not fear it's just I wouldn't mind a go in that Swift they have first. I've done thousands of laps on Gran Turismo so I should be fine ;)

Don't do what they guy in the red evo did at Adenau bridge last Sunday!

Driven the swifts many times and they are brilliant!

Maybe folk would like to take in the Nurburgring 24hrs and stay over for some TF ??

Might be up for this.

When we went last year they had a half day of testing 911 gt3s. They then opened the track to the public on the afternoon this made for a much quieter track.

No plans as such at the moment, need to wait at least for the 2014 dates to be released which is January-ish. At the moment it's more of a 'who's up for it?' thread... :)

thanks Phil, I am very much interested.

Well up for this but I think a UK track day to learn the car is needed!

Why doesnt this track session link up with the prague trip? More people then and a good laugh :)

is that brimmas swift at 02:09 ?

oh and count me in if cheap lol
