After driving around my crummy roads etc, I can confirm zero arch issues on the rear.

Stood over the arch, the tread is actually nowhere near outside of the arch either. Angles can make it look worse than it is

I'm really happy it's on the money.

A mix of pics from today's clean up/down.

Car is now wearing passenger side Waxamomo Rugged Rhubarb Hybrid and Drivers side has my extra special Brazilian import on it. Also had a play with a DAS 6 Pro, much fun had.

Car is looking ace! Were they easy to fit?

Ally, all I can say is I had them on in 20minutes, a competent person would therefore probably do them in 5.

:)

There really is no fitting to speak of

I will allow 40 for fitting mine then! :-p I'm convinced now that the sizes you chose are the way forward

Car looks a lot better

I have a Monte and I'm thinking of going for 15mm front and 17mm back. Would this be the best setup given the monte has a 'body kit'?

Sparkly, Is it just a case of putting the spacers on the hub and then putting the wheels back on with longer bolts? If you could pm me any links for spacers and bolts that would be great, I don't know what size bolts I would need tbh.

Thanks

Spacing looks spot on to me Mark :)

Hi Bud, mine came from Damian at DPM Performance (google it) and he prices up really nicely (bolts, postage everything included in the price).  Get a shift on because it seems like a few people are struggling to get their hands on the FK spacers.

Fitting is as you said, wheel off, spacer on, line up, wheel back on.  My advice if you don't have a special tool to keep everything lined up is to prep a bolt in the wheel as you put it on the spacer, then the bolt can be used to line the wheel up first time, otherwise it can be a pain in the sack if the spacer starts rotating.

thanks Tom, and after some extensive test driving, it appears to not foul the arch anywhere too

Really annoyed that I missed some dirt around the Fabia Logo - proof I need to debadge sooner rather than later.

Nice pictures, but I could not live on that road Mark

How do you keep your mats clean?

With great difficulty.  I have a black and decker pivot in the car which helps a bit. When all else fails, buy some new ones.

When we were house hunting I wanted a decent garage and a drive, SWMBO wanted a nice country location with good schools.

Guess were the compromise was made.

Cheers.

I have dropped him an email and asked for a price for 15mm front and 17mm rear.

Looks good! Although I think the gigaro's are so easily scraped as it is, without sticking out any further! Maybe I'm just good at scraping them.. :/

Hate to say but mine are in great nick apart from front passenger side where I was forced into the kerb by an oncoming delivery van, even then it's not a bad scrape.

Not noted any issues for the minute with them being spaced.  We are only talking 1.5cms per side difference!

adding the sapcers really improved the look of the car Mark..!!! Looks good

It'll more be tyre design surely, and how exposed the edge of the alloy is as a result? Rather than directly from spacing the wheels out a little.

Does help when the tyre design incorporates a bit of a lip, to protect from any small issues when parking :)

My Vredestein Ultrac Cento front tyres have a burly rim protection lip, a truly great all round tyre, probably save my alloy from worse damage.

I've been advised 15mm front and 20mm rear...... Any thoughts?
