  • A few pics of the deeper red colour when the sun is down, brothers in arms.

  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

I hope so. :D

It's had a whole new engine built for more response, more torque, more revs...

520?

I remember when i thought the GT-R with 400ish was fast haha!

And it made???

And it made???

We find out tomorrow...

Awesome :)

Can't wait to see what it's putting out now. :D

It is now tomorrow... so spill the beans!

Wow!!!!! When can I come for a ride? When can I come for a ride.....

Wow!!!!! When can I come for a ride? When can I come for a ride.....

When it's here.

It's quite a bit faster than before...

635bhp.

Around 450 lb/ft torque at 3,500rpm which runs almost constant to 7,000rpm.

500bhp from 5,250rpm, so over 500bhp for 2,500rpm.

It's quick.

I can't have it just yet though as they think they can hear a noise and want to make sure it's 100% before I track it.

Wow!! That must be unbelievably rapid :) better than expected :)

Unbelievable... was quick before... imagine the sideways action now :D

So as it's had a whole new engine built, are we going to see a RB engine in a Skoda? [emoji3]

The engine is already in another Skyline... tempting but too late. :D

Is the line not smooth due to the car struggling to keep traction on the RR? Good numbers though!

Looks like a chart for the Richter scale!

Yes, as it puts more power down it sends a little to the front to balance it under acceleration.

Which means on this type of RR you get this effect.

Amazing figures!

What does the R35 produce stock? Must be similar....but RWD and zero driver aids...... :sun:

And less weight.

550bhp and 460 lb/ft in MY14 spec.

They are easy to tune though, exhaust and map and you are looking at 600bhp which is what my Yellow one was.

They have the fancy gearbox too, but are around 300kg heavier.

All GT-Rs are four wheel drive, other than the really early ones pre 1973.

They all act like a RWD car and only send a bit of power to the front when required, such as under hard acceleration or when you start going sideways.

So basically....

This will be a hoot to drive!

Gulp...

Gulp...

I'm looking forward to it.... a car that makes you work to be a better driver.... isn't that everyone's dream?! Or alternatively nightmare I suppose. I remember thinking the 2wd Cossie was bad enough in the wet.. and that only had just over half the power....
