It's quick.

Yes, as it puts more power down it sends a little to the front to balance it under acceleration.

Which means on this type of RR you get this effect.

550bhp and 460 lb/ft in MY14 spec.

They are easy to tune though, exhaust and map and you are looking at 600bhp which is what my Yellow one was.

They have the fancy gearbox too, but are around 300kg heavier.

 

All GT-Rs are four wheel drive, other than the really early ones pre 1973.

They all act like a RWD car and only send a bit of power to the front when required, such as under hard acceleration or when you start going sideways.

So basically....

Well at 520bhp it was the only car I've ever had that scared me a bit.

So yes, with more power, more torque and a wider powerband it's going to be interesting.

In gear punch is noticably more agressive than the R35 and you are not so isolated from the experience by a big well insulated body.

I'm looking forward to it.... a car that makes you work to be a better driver.... isn't that everyone's dream?! Or alternatively nightmare I suppose. I remember thinking the 2wd Cossie was bad enough in the wet.. and that only had just over half the power....
