  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

Standard they are a nice fast cruiser, cant be hustled like an Evo though , more of a GT car, albeit a hugely capable one.

Richards is far from standard and would bear little relation to a stock one , its awesome,  but no doubt in Richards hands its only going to get better

Just a thought, most people seem to go from R32 to later models and on to the R35.

Great looking car, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh, Happy motoring B/F :)

Well he's had an R35 already.. and possibly will have another one again at some point. :D

Think there has been 3 previous R35's already in the Bossfox Hanger.

But who can keep up with his cars... he needs to employ someone just do that!! And it would be a full time job! :D

So big question is Richard, how are you going to modify this even more? More power? Chassis mods?

Yes, I've got it all arse about face. :D

After Skylines I just find most modern cars a bit... sanitised.

R35 included.

Bad times :(

Joking aside I recently got fined for two cars that had run out of VED. :(

Then found another that had run out of MOT when I went to tax it.

I need a spreadsheet...

Good idea with conditional formatting on the due dates in order to highlight when they're due, best way. :)

I'm surprised it's taken this long! :D

Such a beautiful looking car and colour.

1991 a 600bhp Monster beat us by miles at the 24h of Spa. We came in 3rd with a modified 964 Cup Porsche.

Just because I've been enjoying this today.

Epic car, they just don't make them like this anymore.

Well, strictly they only had half the power back then, but they thoughtfully made them easy to tune up as the early 1990's touring cars were around 600bhp so they could give the RS500 Cosworths a good slap... :)

Not all cossie powered cars. https://youtu.be/YUyV2seaHcI

Although granted the r32 can probably put it down a bit better than this one. Awesome car and driver.

  • 2 weeks later...

What an incredible bit of kit this car is.  Without a doubt the best car I've ever driven, never mind owned.

So much torque low down, you really have to be a bit sensible coming out of the corners...

Until the R34 arrives in port.......must be soon??? :-)

Personally I think the R34 has got a lot to live up to.

The R32 after 18 months of tinkering is of a very high standard and a real joy to drive.

It'll be interesting to see how they compare.

I think it's due in around three weeks or so.

But in four weeks I am off on the GTROC Euro Tour in the R32, so I won't have much time to play with it when it arrives.

Oh I'm sure it does, the R32 looks to be an absolute animal.

The R34 had more electronic trickery, so could it be a happy medium between the passive R32 and fully active R35?

I volunteer my time to baby sit the R34 while your with the GTROC....

Or not? The R34 is bigger and heavier, but runs the same standard engine, and disabling ATESSA is a popular R34 mod.

I love the way it looks so discreet.
