  • A few pics of the deeper red colour when the sun is down, brothers in arms.

  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

You can't keep your Fabia on the track at Brands let alone a GTR32 LOL!  :p

I've been too busy to even think about it...

Put some pics up but haven't actually advertised it yet.

PM me tonight's lottery numbers and I'll can save you the effort. ;)

Now that's a nice exhaust.

Can't believe you can pick it up with just one hand.

Not that I've made weight savings anywhere else on the car, as it's not that sort of project! :D

Crisis time...

Been offered another R32 GT-R in the same lovely red colour that's running 600bhp and needs some work.

For a sensible price, only £1,000 over some people are paying for Fabia VRS SEs!

:(

R35 engine in the R32? :giggle:

I remember working with a chap about 25 years ago who when shown another colleagues Japanese pride and joy, kamikaze GP stylee bike said, "nah, you're a wuss, you aint been drivin that hard, your pipes aren't blue"

Amanda, are you having a pop at the pre-blued exhaust exit?

Last time I ran the engine in on the road, mostly driving to work and back.

Which to be honest wasn't ideal.

So the car is now on a rolling road for the day being run in properly this time round.

Not long now I hope...  excited.   :sun:

I'll run the engine in for you if you want. ;)

Too late. :D

Too late. :D

Had it not been too late I suspect "jog on" or the equivalent with some of these ** would have been said! [emoji2]

But I know you can drive.

Quite well. :)

Richard wouldn't have said that! He would have been far more eloquent with the bog off part :D

More power with less boost! Madness! I bet it's fun :)

Just goes to show what a good exhaust can do - does it have thermal advantages over steel as well?

The word "urgent" springs to mind.

Exhaust, ported head, extra 200cc capacity, smoother flowing pipework etc...  same turbos though.

This car just gets sweeter and sweeter! Can't wait to see it in the flesh again and around the track to boot!

Any updates for it? Can't wait to go for a ride in it. It made me need clean underwear before you had the work done.

Upgraded turbo elbows went on today.

NISMO fuel pump struggles over 550bhp so that needs changing for something more hefty.

After that it's just mapping.

Then it's time for another ride, see if you can see the difference. ;)

Fuel pump done, it's on the Rolling Road...

As soon as you have the car back I'm coming round!

I'm hoping for 600bhp because I like round numbers, but I suspect it'll be a bit under that.

What's more important is that it spools earlier and revs higher, so it'll have a nice wide powerband. :)
