I love the way it looks so discreet.

They were saying I've spent 18 months tinkering and making it really capable.  But it still looks the same as when I got it. :D

  • A few pics of the deeper red colour when the sun is down, brothers in arms.

  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

But that's the beauty of it understated and subtle but damn it goes well!

Sounds awesome!

That sounds incredible :)

that noise!!

I think the BBS need to be body coloured.

I love the way it looks so discreet.

That's where I tip my hat to Richard. He could have gone all out and had this slammed on its backside with a couple of large exhausts but he's taken it the complete opposite - look at the blue one in the photo, not saying it's a bad thing at all, it's nice to be different though. He's commissioned it to be as discreet (as a GTR can be) as possible. From the outside, you'd look at it and think lovely motor, you then open the bonnet and then realise the amount of work that has gone in to it.

Richard, surely this one is a keeper, isn't it? Oh, and I must be due to thumb a lift soon  :D

Yes, it's supposed to land in the UK port on the 23rd June, so not long.

Still needs to be inspected, registered etc... so mid July I suspect.

It's going to have to be good to compare to the R32, otherwise it probably won't be with me for a long time.

Had a new shape Golf R up my chuff on the way back up a slip road trying to push me along.

Soon dispatched.  Thought they accelerated quickly? :D

GolfRs do think their cars accelerate quickly, yes.

There is something just so 'right' about and R32 on BBS LM's. Also, that's my favorite colour for that modle.

Good God i want it.
