Great day at Silverstone but used semi slicks on a 520bhp car made it quite an interesting day.

Plenty of sideways moments, some caught on camera.

And a little pirouette at the beginning of the day as I got used to it.

 

Managed to scare a few passengers too...

 

 

There might be a swear word near the end, brought about by a bit of over excitement.

Skyline 1 is waiting for parts, for it's 2.8 conversion. Having a flowed head at the same time.

Skyline 2 is having the arches and sill done currently.

Also saw the new spec for the R35 MY15 is starting to come out.

That and the R35 is just so mainstream compared with any of the RB26DETT cars.

But if you got another R35, after about 6 weeks ( being generous) you would become bored with it, as it would only be good on track and not so much fun on everyday trips, think that's how you explaind the last one!

I'm coming round to the fact that there isn't a better road car for sporty fun and being able to use it's limits than my Fiesta ST.

Unless you have an issue with not having the fastest car you go past most days.

Let's face it, all these GT-Rs, RS3s, Golf Rs etc... are more capable than really needed, so most of the time you are driving well within it's limits, which is less enertaining.

 

I like the old one because it actually does try to bite me, and there is zero help from the car other than shuffling a bit of drive to the front.

Been a while... R32 is in for tinkering again. :peek:

 

Stroker kit to take it from 2.6 to 2.8.

Increasing rev limit from 7,500 to 8,000rpm.

Head ported and flowed. (it was starting to limit things a bit)

 

Keeping same turbos, but they should fill with air earlier in the rev range and produce more poke.

With the revised top end rev limit I am hoping to increase the "wow" part of the powerband by about 40-50%.

 

It make 530bhp at AMD before, be interesting to see what it comes back like from RK Tuning.

Should be back in the driving seat in a month.
