just watched the vids and it really does fly,i knew they were quick cars but this thing just breezes past the other cars on the track day and the only thing to give you a decent go was the radical which as a proper track car is understandable but there cant be many cars out there that would trouble you out on track plus yours works well in day to day life

One of these was at the petrol station tonight. I waited to hear it start and drive by and even at walking pace it sounded fantastic! Shame it was silver though... what a bland colour for such a magic car.

Seems half of all the cars are BMWs round here and the M3s tend to have a look, then back off.

I assume you've got the launch control 0-60 in under 3? could do with a vid of that if you ever feel inclined! I was seriously impressed with the original colour - real DB's, but can see why you've gone all citrus- What's the criac as far as taking it off- is that poss, does it harm the paint underneath etc.

It's £250 to have the wrap removed, it comes off with some form of steam lance leaving the paintwork like it was before.

Yes, it's the MY11. That's when they added the offical launch control and covered the car under warranty when using it. (unlike 2009+2010)

Also, without being too anal it's better. The eariler launch control was just rev limited with anti-bogdown, where this version seems to just slip the back wheels a bit (maybe 1/4 turn) to test for grip and then use the info + stop the car bogging down, then it fires you off the line like a rocket sending exactly the right power to each of the four wheels.

On the V box it pulls a constant 1g under acceleration to 100mph+, but I've had peaks of 3g showing under launching with the LC.

It can be a bit uncomfortable if you are not braced.

Now I've got the GoPro3 (with slow motion 120 frames per second) I want to do a launch vid, probably from the floor and the bodywork looking at the back wheel, but need the conditions to improve first.

To be honest, I'm concentrating on the Citigo at the moment.

With the power and brakes I''m happy with the Nissan at the moment, even on track it's devestating.

I'm not sure if I'll have it for the whole year, because the only time you experience how good it really is you're on a track.

Two track day cars are nice, but you can only drive one.

Plus it is a fair amount of money tied up in a vehicle.
