Shopping for car bits sure beats working.

So... on Friday night this happened. :peek:

 

 

Put down a deposit on the RK Tuning R32 GT-R.

 

700bhp + 1,100kg.  Sequential gearbox.  Dry Sump.  Huge brakes.

Also a pic of how the twin EFR turbos will sit in my R32.

 

That is going to be crazy fast!! It was really really fast before!

Before it was made rear drive only to comply with the series regulations, yes.

And a bit more weight was taken out.

Sorry if I've missed it, but what do you plan to do with the r32 race car? Actually race it or what?

I've got a few bits to do on it, so will fettle and play with it in 2016 (while racing in the CSCC Tin Tops in my Fiesta ST) and then look to race the R32 in 2017.

 

I could have done with it coming up for sale a year later, but didn't want to let it go as it's quite a special car if you like Skylines.

Sounds like a good plan to gain a little racing experience then mix it with the bigger boys after that. I have seen that you have evolved from your fgf fetish to a skyline fetish! I must say that I really enjoy reading your progress and car purchases and as people would say, if you can afford it then get into it. All the best and I look forward to the updates.

Would the fettling involve painting it white, applying vulpine decals to the sides and temporarily using it as an ultra-exclusive express passenger vehicle for one until you decide to take it racing?
