No umbrella holder!?  I've never come across that - you mean the hole isn't there to hold the umbrella?

Remove the cover?

Hello

Yes, no umbrella holder,

The hole covered by plastic plate.
I tried to look behind the plastic plate, I saw nothing.
It is massively fixed by inside.
I'm really not sure the water drain is made behind the door cover.

Never saw that before! If I'm not mistaken the partnumber for door cards is 3T9867211 and then a suffix like 3T9867211T for a colour code. Maybe have a look at eBay listings, you should be able to fit a doorcard with a hole for the umbrella surely!

I'm sure you'll be able to remove that cover.

I'm sure you'll be able to remove that cover.

With this

Is there an umbrella holder on all models? I thought is was omitted from S models?

I did not think that they even put the base parts in for the Comfort model.

The recess is there on ours and a mates S spec, the only thing omitted was the actual umbrella (which was £37 so added it).

Have you tried using some trim removal tools?

If you do manage to remove the trim filler piece, you will likely be confronted by...not very much at all.

I don't think your door card has the umbrella shelf and drain that features on other models.

See attached photo of a UK 'S' model l/h rear door card. See particularly above speaker grill/foam, there isn't anything there.

HTH.

I will remove it one of next weekend, and report the result to you.

Don't bother. I removed the cover and there's no umbrella cilinder in the door card.

What is the first start up date of your car?

What is the equipment level?

Thanks in advance

2011 may registered. Standard equipment (Active/Comfort).

Gulp - £37 for an umbrella!

I got a cheap one for a few pounds & fits perfect

When my car was delivered I did an inspection check to sign off the delivery, I noticed that the umbrella was missing.

The delivery driver then told me that he was given it separately and he would just grab it out of his bag.

My Arse, I bet the umbrella would have been on ebay that night had i not mentioned it!
