Please can someone tell me how the rear passenger and rear drivers door locks? My Fabia VRS locks fine on the front drivers door and front passenger door, but the rear doors do nothing.

They both stopped working at the same time. I hooked up to VCDS and it reported no faults. The rear doors have handles to wind up and down the windows, so there must be very little electronics there.

It's hard to tell though, as there is a rivited plate on the inner liner of the door frame, which prevents looking inside.

 

This problem occurs whether I use the key fob, or just using the key in the drivers door lock. Of course, when I try the door after locking, the doors open and the alarm goes off.

 

If anyone has had this issue, then please let me know as this one has confused me so far.
