Changed from a '60' plate Silver vRS 2.0 TDI Manual with 57k last August to a '63' plate Rio Red vRS 2.0 TDI Manual with 11k and some unusual 18" alloys. I was initially shocked by the low MPG compard to my previous car but now it has done 20k it's much better - thankfully.

 

It was the colour that made me change.

 

 

Rio Red also made me change from a stream of black cars. 

Led VRS. Me thinks we have the best colour in going for Rio Red but no doubt others will have a different opinion. Enjoyed seeing your pics. Black pack for me with the Gemini anthracite wheels but liking the chrome and silver as well - difficult choices there but not in going for Rio.

Pictoris wheels don't seem too common from what I've seen.

The Pictoris are great to look at but a real bugger to keep clean - so it's a brush and Megs Wheel Brightner mixed at 10:1 to keep them clean.

 

When I picked the car up the colour wasnt as good (flat looking) so after spending a few hours and some elbow grease, I stripped off the showroom wax and started with Megs Cleaner wax then 2 thin coats of Meg's Gold Class with Carnuba.

Well your wife nailed it, Meteor Grey is beautiful but the Corrida Red on Skoda is the equivalent of Audis Misano Red and is just stunning!

Had my vRS 220 for about 3 weeks now and was struggling to find a set of wheels I liked and could afford until I got these from work! 235 x 35 x 19" fill the arches especially with the Superbs wider offset alloys.

Last shot looks a little lower in the rear because of the other wheels in the boot!

Great shots and car.

Had my Octavia Vrs detailed and very pleased with the results. Paintwork has come up really well.

It is getting a bit chilly here.

I was going to go and wash the car but maybe I have to wait until afternoon...

My new car has arrived to the dealer ship yestoday.. and he send me this pictures..

Here's one I took 1km up a mountain close to Malaga. Car handled the ride nicely with the DSG adjusting accordingly to the very steep drive.

It is getting a bit chilly here.
