Thanks Keith. I collected it on Thursday just in time for a trip to Saas-Fee in the Valais region of Swtizerland.

It was a perfect car for the journey & great for driving up the mountain roads... :)

I've not filled up yet but after a 400km round trip the computer was telling me the economy for the trip to the mountains was 4.3l/100km (~63mpg) which was mostly highway driving and since refuelling is 5l/100km (~56mpg). Very very, impressed if after tanking its in that region.

My new octavia at the dealer. Cant wait to pick it up :-)

Love Alaris rim...

What country are you from?

cooper23racing Excellent looks really good.

Looks great! I took mine in yesterday for a quote on the same roof wrap and they said the sides would be tricky with no definite edge to tuck it in to. Can you post a close up pic of an edge? Did they warn you it could lift?

That looks great with the roof wrap !

Looks like I neglected to post a photo of my car on collection day (1st March)  So here it is at the dealers..

Seems to be a popular combination of Estate and Candy White, the other being Race Blue...

I'll try and get a close up for you. I had the same concern but the guy who did mine really knows his stuff and said it wouldn't be a issue. He did a great job.

What stereo is it in your car?

After picking up my car yesterday and being chuffed to bits with it, thought I'd share a few pics

Nice, it matches your house.

How do you find squeezing it into a single garage? Still waiting to see how mine will fit.

Thanks.

Regarding the garage, it won't be going in the garage. My last car, an astra coupe only just fit lengthways so no chance this big boy will fit, plus it's 6cm wider. Not to mention the fact that the garage has been converted to a dumping ground!

Delivery past Tuesday of my Steel grey vRS TDI DSG with some options: ACC, Panoroof, Auxiliary heater, heated front seats and windscreen,

How did you made the exhaust tips black?

Painted or...?

I like that.

Me too..

Hows that done?

Just some Plastidip coating.

Not easy to access all torx screws to unmount the exhaust tips.

This goes perfectly with black pack. In my opinion worth the effort.

Those black exhaust tips do look mega!

Just a couple of pics to start off with.
