What even with the 'wrapped white' look??

 

Have you enabled the rain closing on yours? (I wondered if it was enabled already because of the sunroof?)

 

I think you'll find the 'wrapped look' has gone when you pick it up.

 

To enable rain closing needs VCDS I believe. Its not something I've considered anyway as I'm not in the habit of leaving the roof of the car open when I'm not in it.

Picked my new car up this morning, Octavia vRS Estate Diesel DSG, 5k miles on the clock, registered April 2014:

 

Only had 20 mins in it so far, but feels very comfy in the drivers seat!

 

Picked mine up on Tuesday. Done 600 miles already and love it!

Looks sweet! Pretty much what I am doing to mine as well (have pano roof/candy white also). I have a set of black magic mirror covers to go on already. My rails are black though.

 

Did the guy doing the wrap take the rails off? or just leave a seam somewhere?

Wasn't questioning how good it looks. Just interested in the different laws.

Hot countries often allow more tint owing to the heat, Norway I would have thought do not allow it and likely are pretty hot on pulling people for having it so was surprised to see Rekve had fitted it!

Here we are everyone it has finally arrived. I took it home last night and really loving it.

Loving it, green is defo the colour for them, enjoy.

Congratulations. Mines, green estate. Always had good comments on the colour, once they get over the shock.... It's easy to find in any carpark so long as you are on the right level.

Thanks guys.... I was outside as soon as the transporter turned up. The sun was shining on it and I had the biggest grin on my face.

 

Also I took great pleasure in stripping it off it's white protective stickers.... which got a chore after the roof, that stuff is harder than I thought it would be. Then made my own number plates and cleaned it.

Really, really like that gloss black roof - I would be tempted to do the same when mine arrives as I have ordered the panoramic roof too. Mine will be Corrida Red but also has the silver rails and chrome surrounds. Has anyone in the UK had this done?

At this PistonHeads Sunday service this morning at Jaguar, Gaydon. VRS sat lovely amongst some glorious metal.

I did not take the rails of, and it was difficult to work around the Rails

It is not allowed to tint the front side Windows. The rest of the Windows can be as dark as you like.

IF you get cought you have to show your car at the trafikk station without the tintet window.

So you only remove the tintet film and show the car.. Then tint the Windows Again ;-)

I have had tintet Windows on my 5 latent Cars now and never been cought! But i have never har this dark front Windows before.
