Hi all

Picked this up on Friday and am very very pleased with it .... the garage said it was the first vRS hatch they'd had through

Will post better pictures at some point ....

Done about 275 miles so far (adopting a hard running in method!), feels really well put together - big step up from the mk2

Mode button had gone straight into 'sport' and will stay there

Only two niggles so far:

Heated mirrors aren't working

Booming sound from the rear on certain road surfaces

Am sure they shouldn't be too difficult to resolve!

Like the look of the Black version.

Mirror heater switch is sensitive to the exact position. just try around the on point ,it will probably work okay-mine did.

Has your car come with lane assist?

Mine is due to be built week 2 January but not guaranteed to have it as they tell me there are supply problems.

I think the booming sound would be normal, with the boot not being sealed from the cabin and the 18" wheels ?

Or is this louder than you'd expect?

If you've ordered a vRS then it'll come with lane assist as it's standard, it's been dropped as an option because of supple issues to enable supply for car with it as standard to be built.

The booming is louder than I'd expect, it's a bit like the noise you get when you have the windows open in some cars at a certain speed ..... I might get the geometry looked at to see if that resolves it!

It does have lane assist, I've not used it though!
