Enabling both rear fog lights with VCDS - LED cluster

I know this thread is almost ten years old, but I'll try anyway...

Are there any other known changes apart from the zero brightness setting documented in the main post? Because even after trying that, I still can't get the other fog light to work.

OK, I found it. If anybody else is facing this problem, the last thing that needs to be set is the type of light used. The setting to update is Leuchte26NSL LA72-Lasttyp 26. Set the value to mirror the other fog light (right -> left or the other way around).

In my case the correct value was 9.

Hey man, I know you resurrected this post 2 years ago but I just want to say thank you! I couldn't get my 2017 FL working until I changed LA72-Lasttyp 26.
