Skoda Fabia 1.2 12v ambiente problem, ing power and engine mgmt light on

Hi first post,

I purchased a Skoda Fabia (private deal), as I was driving it home it was losing power and the engine management light would come on, if I turned it off and on the light would go away. This happened 3 times and on the final time I pulled it in and tried to re-start but it wouldn,t, I got it into the garage and the ignition coil had blew (2 but got the 3 changed) I got the car back on Friday and it was driving fine Friday and Saturday, as I was heading to work the day it started losing power again and the engine management light came on but this time wouldn't go off, any ideas on what this problem may be and how much it may cost too fix?? also I have no other way to work so have to use the car is this ok?
