Engine Oil - from factory and after

Featured Replies

Hello,

Did anyone have to check oil level message on the new O3?

I am curious with what sort of oil did you or your dealer complete?

I am not sure what is the oil coming from factory. Did someone have clear informations?

For my 1.2TSI 105 I have refill after  6300km with 1L of Castrol Edge vw50400 5w30 for variable oil service, with the specifications mentioned in the manual. Or I should put the one that they call orginal, in the grey 1L bottle? At different dealers I have herad to use Castrol Edge professional LongLife3, or the original one, or Castrol Edge 5w30, all with the same vw50400 specification for variable oil service.

Waiting for yours feedbacks...

Hi,

On the day when I picked up my car the technician told me that if I need to refill the oil, the best thing to do is to go to the dealer, and by checking the serial number of my car they will know what oil is in my car and refill accordingly.

He also told me what oil is in the car but forgot:(
