Like on all VAG cars with this feature, the mirror will go back to the normal position once you have moved forward again and go over 5mph. It certainly doesn't stay in the dip position forever!

In my SEL -17 the mirror went back when i started the engine

  • Travel at speeds in excess on 90 mph for a short amount of time and a Blue Light comes on in all mirrors

  • I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but it's worth repeating....   Did you know that if you remove the parcel shelf, turn it round so that what was the tailgate edge is pointing away from you, you

I think you are meaning the mirror fold, "900000" was referring to the dip.

Yes, thanks

If you use the control on the window mirror stalk to fold the mirrors they stay folded until you reverse the operation.

^ but in that case they would have been folded in when the driver is out of the car and folding in the mirrors using the fob. If they were folded in in order to park in a tight space, that would have been done using the joystick switch on the door - and they won't fold out until manually switched again.

Edit Expat man beat me to it!

hold down the lock button on your key fob and it will fold the mirrors. When you start up they will unfold again.

I realise this is an old post but just tried this on my car and they folded, many thanks.

If you hold both the lock and unlock buttons down for 10 seconds - your Yeti will roll over for a tummy rub.
