Was just wondering on duration for you guys, as I think it's 8 days from payment before you can begin dispute resolution with eBay (from memory).

It's always much better to sort the issue out direct with the seller of course, but if they're being unresponsive then......

Yep, I'm just an interested by-stander with this one too, what with my Octy up for sale :)

I'll remain optimistic for you, and keep the faith that it's simply a logistics issue causing the delay. But experience tells me that the company has to be up-front about things like this; that's the least they can do when delays happen - keep you paying customers upto speed.

Best of luck,

Steve.

DONT PANICCCC !!!!

i have just checked with my tracking number and its gone from advised(which means not collected)

but now the good news is its been collected from the customer at 1640 and is currently in Leicester sort centre  at 1715 with a ETA tomorrow.

we are 24 hours away boys and girls from the quality inspection and then if happy

a fitted by saturday photoshoot.

Just wish the clowns would have kept us updated or responded to emails.

Ooh ooh I'm like a child at Charlie's Chocolate Factory, pics pics pics asap once they arrive pretty please!

Yes boys, let hope these turn out sweet after all this ! You would have thought that the least they would have done, would have been to keep buyers and potential buyers upto date and informed us if they have problems at their end. I know for certain if a few people had bought products or services off me and I couldn't deliver in time then I would have made certain I bent over backwards to keep them sweet, especially with more business 95% guaranteed (group buy). A lot of us feel more like we've been bent over, but not backwards ! Here was me banging on about a British company, British quality etc at the start of the thread only for them to let themselves down. Let's hope all this extra time was spent getting things right for us the paying customers. If they are poor then really they have just shat in their own beds as no-one on here will give them any business. Ive gone from all in to 50-50 on these due to their lack of customer care and they have given me little or no inspiration to run this groupbuy. See what the verdict on quality is like come this weekend. Fingers crossed lads !

Well, mine has ARRIVED!

Despite the tracking number being incorrect.

Initial impressions are excellent! Very nice thick leather with quality stitching. I'm convinced they are genuine. I'm going to have a bash at starting the rear bench now...

Phil

Jammy sod :whew: ,just kidding they look good, mine aint come yet still waiting.

OMG how exciting, pics please of the installation!

Update.......looks like mine are finally on the way woo hoo

Will be busy next week now, rear backrest looks a bit of a sod to do!!!.

Trev

Good news then ! Get some good pics up please !!

Managed to do both sides of the rear seat bench.

For anyone about to undertake this, I'm anything but an expert, but would advise you to get a pair of hog ring pliers and some new hog rings (I got both from ebay). They make re-assembly so much more simple!

Fitting the covers is actually pretty easy with these. It's the removal of the old ones which I'm finding quite fiddly and is hurting my hands!

Phil

mines in the box going back ..claim opened

didn't get headrest covers or backrest centre console cover.

previously cut in the wrong places on the back rest (totally wrong ) the centre headrest holes are cut 2 inch on one side 1 inch on the other so would look proper poo.

the little part under the rear armrest is not there. One of the Isofix badges is missing from the rear bench.

Previous signs of fitting on all covers.plastic extrusions on factory covers are not on these.

if these are genuine im the popes love child.feels like faux leather(half leather in my vrs looks and feels like leather)

black leather doesnt match my oem leather in colour or quality.

shame though cause they do look bloody ace pretty gutted really :wall:

No way spany issues and bits missing, I'm gutted for you. I was hoping these would be spot on and then get me some!

I'm sorry to hear this!

I am also missing the headrests (hadn't noticed to be honest). I'll email them to sort that out, but I don't plan to use them anyway.

Mine doesn't have holes for the rear headrests cut, but they are marked.

All plastic fittings appear correct on mine and they are certainly new with no sign of previous fitting.

I hope you get a good resolution.

Phil

hope you get yours in and looks good buddy

cause the trim does look ace.

.im not bothered about the headrests either but the backrest precut is a boo-boo.

id fit the rest but im too scared to risk it incase it does not get sorted after their performance with replying to emails etc .

my 2 boxes taped together look like they have been round the world 10 times with 5 different coloured tapes on

although if you look the limited edition badge looks like it been removed from the front seats .i should just fit the fronts and never look back pmsl.

tbh i think some idiots tried fitting it before and cut the holes wrong and sent it back.the cut marks are there they just cut them wrong.

as for the headrests and rear centre armrest :wall:

god i wanted it so bad, once someone get it in and all is well,i will be gutted :(

Go for a resolution of them sending you out another set. Rather than going completely back to square one.

Best of luck.

Pretty gutted for you guys after such a long wait, although you know what they say about things that seem too good to be true, rather than kits that skoda haven't used, could these be sets they COULDNT use for the reasons now coming to light?

Hope you al get it sorted...

On a side note, if you have the means to remove your seats and live without them for a few days, a good retrimmer shouldn't charge more than a couple of hundred quid to fit new covers, in fact they pretty much enjoy stuff like this as its easy money, no messing around, and will save you gents alot of hassle, and still keep your costs low for a LE trim.

Jon.

If anyone does want them fitting and fancies spending a day at the Seaside while its done I have a friend who is a vehicle upholsterer by trade and does this day in day out and is more than happy to do it for a fee, it will be a lot cheaper than taking it to a company! He reckons its about a 6hr job to change the trim in the car with the right tools

Once I have seen a set fitted I will be ordering and getting him to fit it....

I must admit my heads burnt out over this now ! All we wanted was quality items delivered on time, with no nonsense customer service. We ain't even had one of those ! If all had been well then none of us would have minded parting with a couple of hundred quid for these. We all would have been happy and they would have had a lot of business. I'm willing to wait another week or so to see if AutoKit can pull there fingers out and get their act together. If not then I've only wasted a bit time on messages and calls. There name will be passed about this and other forums and I don't think that they will get much business in the future ! Hopefully they can rectify this and deliver but call me pessimistic !!

If some interested Briskodian would like to upload my photos of the trim Ive taken so we can all have a laugh ? please do as i cannot upload photos :)

pm me your email and i will send them on. :)

All i can say guys is if you've got it don't fit it cause my local tannery laughed when i said it was leather today.I thought id show them to see if it was worth messing around trying to get the faulty parts replaced, but obviously not.
