I'm in over my head..

Featured Replies

So, a couple of months ago, I decided to sell my thirsty BMW and get a beater to and from work. I found a 2000 1.3 pickup with 120kkm's on it. It was in fairly good condition except the faded paint.

This was not my first pink VAG, but it is my first Skoda.

After a few hours of detailing, it looked like this:

I sold some of my BMW parts to a guy, and he mentioned that he also had a yellow pickup sitting, and that he was going to crush it shortly.

Turned out that it is a Fun, so I bought it unseen.

I just got pictures of it, and it's finished. I'm going to keep the bodykit, but the rest is up for grabs, if anybody needs Fun specific parts, let me know. I'll be happy to ship them. I'm getting the Fun delivered in about a month time, and then it's part out time.

The main reason for me buying the Felicia was to have a cheap crappy car, but it didn't take long before I fell in love with it. It's leaking water like crazy, and it stalls at the worst times, but I still like it!

Cool truck - came up well.

Is it leaking through the windscreen? That is a common fault but an easy fix. :)

Thanks!

Yes, I think so. When it's raining, it's dripping down on the passengers foot well. I'm going to replace the windshield anyway, so I'll figure it out then. I've removed the carpet, and drilled some holes, so I don't drown while driving.

Wow, that paintwork came up well!

Nice job! :)

Thanks guys.

I never bought the Fun after all. Too much work, but over the summer, I replaced the windscreen, and that meant painting the roof as there were some rust there. Since I had to paint the roof, I figured I could paint the whole car.

It didn't work out, so now it looks like crap. But I've ordered some plasti-dip so it will be nice again.

I've also ordered the Felicia Kit car body kit from Speedpro.eu. They don't make them for pickups, but I'll work something out.

This weekend i mounted a sunblind that I had lying around from one of my BMW's.
