Recommended Posts

Normally

Mk1 Octavia tdi 90bhp.

Mk2 Octavia tdi 166bhp.

So 256 bhp.

Last night had a new RS6 on the drive 560bhp.

Tonight who knows!

Seriously - only 72 for a motorhome?  Doesn't sound like much to drag a whole lot of weight around...

Tell me about it! It's not what you would call fast.

It is a 1985 model. 2.5 Diesel.

It's actually 74bhp according to wikipedia but the KW on the german log book works out at 72bhp.

119 lb ft of torque.

Oh and it weighs just over 2.5 tonnes empty!

The drive only has space for 1 car (usually the Octy), but here's the household total:-

Octavia CR140 = 138 BHP

Fiesta ECOnetic = 90 BHP

Lawnmower (3000W) = 4 BHP

Total = 232

Now I'm home:

Saab 9-5 200 bhp
Saab 9-3 225 bhp
Mercedes 190EC 422 bhp
Opel Astra H 105 bhp
Skoda Felicia 3L 68 bhp
Kawasaki "Bash" ~ 40bhp

= 1060 bhp on paper. But only 570 in practice cause the wiring on the Felly isn't done yet and the Merc was stolen and wrecked some weeks ago.
