the octy vrs clocks in the fabia pod so it fits in the dash. Many hours of work as the Octy back would not fit on the fabia front. In the end i removed the surround from the fabia pod face by sanding it flat leaving just and opening, then removed the front off the front of the octy pod leaving just the clips to hold the clocks in and the dial surround. Once i had two good faces i bonded them together and had to redrill the holes for the adjusters to pop through. All in all fitted great and works as it should as i have kept the octy steering column and storks, so the trip computer works as it should

WP_20140123_003_zps2d37cfc7.jpgused the dead vent to house the Stack boost gauge. Always liked these and have a few more to fit in time. Made the surround from real carbon fibre, with a few more bits to come

octy vrs rad in and just fits between the headlights, power steering pump to be removed soon to allow cooler pipe work to pop thru the filler cap hole which is conveniently 70mm

ran battery cables through to the front, keep the battery in the spare wheel well as no room under the bonnet and need a full boot

dash bar back in with octy steering column, stalks, ignition barrel and fabia steering wheel. running the wiring loom through too the right places required some alteration to fit and work. replaced all the door harnesses with the octy ones because the plugs are completely different and gone back to manual windows because the regs were shot. Basically taking the easy option as i'm no auto electrician and the budget is tight

Look forward to seeing this around Notts. Please go easy on me though if you see me at a set of traffic lights....

octy vrs clocks in the fabia pod, keeps the 160mph and it all works with the ecu and stalks so very pleased with the result but was a pain to fit, had to lie on my back down in the foot well with my hand up the back of the dash to push the plugs in due to the loom being shorter and the fabia dash being totally different from the octy

engine slotted in place nicely but and awful lot of work altering and rerouting pipes and wires. Paid a visit to my local hydraulics company for a oil return for the turbo as VW wanted way too much, also hand some new lines made up for the power steering because gone from the electric power steering pump to the standard octy set-up that runs off the AUX. Removed the A/C, pump was shot, didn't really have the room and it would have been a nightmare to try and retro fit the octy A/C pipe work in the fabia engine bay
