Hey, they gave my car back with a destroyed speaker, so I felt I earned that keyring!

:D

i might have used a bit of rubber on courtesy cars but i have never stolen from them or left them without fuel.. that just isnt right...

Thankfully most people are good with them, but the cost of running them is very high and it obviously does affect the availability of them if one is taken off road even overnight for valeting or permanently because it's facked by some inconsiderate lout.

From what Dave was saying, sounds like the rubber has been used inside the car as well (not by you, of course. I hasten to add)

I was given a new Clio through the AA early this year, when a coilpack went. God - it was _aweful_!! The only good thing about it was the visibility through the rear window!

On this very touchy subject I have to say that my dealer has always been able to supply me a loan car when needed, which is usually a Fabia, but we dont mind at least its transport. We do however give them plenty of time for this, and have always returned the car with more fuel than it came to us (usually at least 1/4 tank left behind....tho dont always know why)

I dont understand why people are surprised at the misuse of anything loan as that is the way we are...if it isnt ours then destroy/neglect it. Not gladly my/our trait in our household, but sadly common in society.

Andy

I usually try and return loan cars in at least as good a state as I get them, which includes the same or greater quantity of petrol. Sadly the trait amongst dealers these days is to hand them over running on fumes, so they are pretty much guaranteed to make a petrol "profit". Still, a loan car is transport - something some of us cannot afford to be without.

We don't sell fuel, nor do we have a fuel station within a reasonable distance - that is why we currently spend nearly

Three grand????? Take note, forumeers...

my other half useed to keep a J reg Citreon AX that really should have been condemned to the scrapyard for his more 'difficult' customers... all the nice ones got one of the brand new 1.2's or a v nice Seat Toledo 1.9.

It pays to keep the courtesy car ready to go straight back out again, see.
