Why they couldn't just have updated everything in one fell swoop is beyond me, but it is all behind me now. Looking forward to Sept/Oct and playing with the new toys!

I might try and convince the factory to enable traffic sign recognition - but I don't hold out much hope!

I think you should focus your hope on the lead time! I ordered my Elegance (+bits) end of May, and the latest advice is BW42 [emoji20]

My order was accepted by the factory on the 23rd May for my new VRS it was provisionally week 40, at my last check it currently does not have a build week. Dealer expects it to be around November time for delivery.

Lost a bit, yes, but the plan was always to change this one quite early once the L&K was out.

Yes I was one of the early purchasers of a Vrs and managed to get Adaptive cruise. Best thing I've ever had on a car !

I ordered my L & K on 16 May or thereabouts. Dealer has confirmed my car is already built (in week 27) and is in Germany waiting for its trip to the UK. Perhaps they've run a batch of L & K's through to get some stock levels up.

I had a mail from my dealer yesterday saying my car will remain sat at the UK port until nearer to September - wonder if this is because a. they think it's more secure, and/or b. it avoids the problem of you not taking delivery within 10 days of it turning up at the dealer (or them completing PDI, whichever triggers the start of the 10 days).

 

No idea which port mine will have come into though - doubt it would be Grimsby (too far north for deliveries to Gloucestershire?), but I'm not sure which other ports Skoda go through in the UK.

Believe Sheerness is the other one. Not sure that they use Avonmouth/ Portbury Docks

Chaps, for anyone interested, three at my local stealer, apologies for the quality, it started raining and I was hardly dressed for it.

I really like the silver Combi, DSG, Pan Sun, lovely stuff.

Those wheels will look great with my Candy White combo with pano roof and silver roof rails.
