Looks like we are all sharing the same ship then as mine is also on the African Highway  Exciting times guys knowing our cars are now sitting in this country.

 

I noticed when tracking it last night it was heading for Margate at one point and then made a swift turn towards Sherness.

Dealer called - status 40 today.

Lo and behold my phone rang ten minutes later and Satus 38, port of exit release as of 17th October! Looks like we are on the same ship as mine isn't showing as in the UK yet.

Still status 38, so I am on a different ship. Skoda UK reckon it should set sail to Grimsby this week.

Eyup Andy, I thought yours would be coming in via Grimsby, otherwise its a long road road trip from North Kentshire! Having waited all this time, one more week ain't going to make much difference, as long as they look after your new baby!

Yep - it did seem a bit rushed to me. At least I won't have the dealer trying to force me in to taking it in October, I'd told the detailer they were likely to see it first week in November, which seems a pretty good guess!

I'm now code 39 so it has left Emden, seeing as the only ship that has left in the last couple of days heading for Grimsby is African Highway and that docked at Grimsby last night. I'll hopefully be code 40 tomorrow and it is on UK soil!
