Trax Thanx

Featured Replies

Got to post a few thanks to a few people who helped me and my son have a great day.

Dave for impeccable organisation.

Bengie's Burger Bar.

Stu & SWMBO for looking after my boy while out on track.

Someone whos name escapes me for lending me some tyre cleaner.

Des for childrens video entertainment.

Got loads of pics to post, will do that later. (edited: cant seem to post any pics as "file is too large", any suggestions?).

Thanx again guys, great day. :)

Seconded - Dave good job again. Des thanks for the polish, Lee thanks for the tape and the loan of tarting equipment. Bengie you're a star!

Bengie = Official Briskoda BBQ cook @ ALL events :)

Irfanview is great - I use its batch conversion method to resize pics for the web. If you have any image processing software, Steve, resize the images to something reasonable for web viewing - 800x600 is a good compromise, and reduce the JPG quality to 50% which makes only a slight difference visually at that size, but makes the files a factor of 10 smaller. Any questions drop me a PM.

Yup, thanks again to Dave for organising, Bengie for the burgers and everyone for making it worthwhile.

Q, I realise I owe you an apology wrt my comment about your tyres when you were leaving. Was rather out of place and you probably had Mrs Q complaining as a result. Sorry mate :o

For quick and easy size reduction, I use Mihov's Image Resizer

A free package' date=' Irfanview, has re-sizing options:

I'm no expert, so perhaps others will post more handy tips on this.

If you dont fancy using other software and you have xp or similar you can highlight them all and right click. Select send to and then mail recipient. It will ask you if you want to make them smaller. Say yes. It will then pop up the new email with attachments and you can then save them to another location on your pc.

No probs Nick, seems that word got around that I was the supplier of tape for lights - some guy in a BMW asked me for some before the start of his track session, just as I had finished mine - perfect opportunity to recycle from my lights to his :D. Thanks to Dave of course and especially good to know that you guys and girls who make it our to meets like Trax are still the usual friendly approachable bunch.

Thanks to Dave for organising this, top bloke  i`m already looking forward to next year :D sorry for not socialising much but i`m not a very talkative person although i did speak to a couple of people :)

Big thanks from myself and Phil to everyone for yesterday. Nice to see such a good turnout from Brisky. :D

Also thanks to LFC and his wife for looking after my gear while I was pottering round the track.

We'll be there next year, hopefully with Phil in a yellow furby vRS and me with a remap. I might have a chance of keeping up with some of you then. :o

Got to add my thanks here! Big thankyou for letting me park on your stand. When I asked the wardens at the entrance to the B section the way to the Briskoda stand they were a bit confused as to why I had gone in that way!

Surprised to be the only 4x4 hatch there but also felt kind of special. :tipspecs:

Very happy with my smiling Briskoda T-shirts too! :D
