Kwik-fit broke my car

Featured Replies

This is what happens when you employ untrained idiots on £5/hr.

I doubt any of the people working in these places have any motor vehicle engineering training or skills.

  • Sorry, I can't agree with just going for compensation 'for the sake of it'. What a disgusting attitude.  You're not stating any reason for it, just that you think you're somehow entitled to free money

  • Wow - looks like you have all the pictures and evidence required. Solicitor job i would think.... that is shocking!   I certainly hope you get a new wheel and some compensation as a minimum.

Someone at work hit my car in the carpark while I was inside and admitted responsibility cos a few people saw her do it. Her insurance company sorted it completely but because I didn't think it needed

I bet they won't retrain him and I bet he will still be working on other cars. Scary thought really.

So somehow you are suggesting that taking them for money may prove a point and make them accountable? The error here is in professional competance. I personally would seek advice and inform trading standards.

You dont need to "milk" a cow to prove it can produce milk. Its just a waste. If this was an independant garage owned by your dad would you try and sue or would you accept an apology allow the problem to be fixed and leave it at that?

Write to Kwik -Fit headquartes and express your concerns, from experience airing a concern with customer services will land you an apology and often a good will gesture.

You don't have to accept the minimal amount of milk from that cow when it should have given more in the first place. You also shouldn't go near its backside again after the first time it craps on you.

Looks like the fitter at Kwik Fit got the sack from Williams F1

There has to be some damage under there surely? Imagine the strain/stress that has been put on the 'dragged' component and those around it.

I'd be taking it to a specialist rather than the cowboys who cocked up putting a wheel back on properly...

I took my car to my local kwik-fit as I had a puncture.

It needed a new tyre I had the tyre replaced but 4 miles Down the road the wheel fell off my car.

Now kwik-fit hired me a car while they repair my car I wasn't injured.

Should I put a claim in for some compensation?y7u8ygyg.jpgu8aju8uj.jpg2enepyna.jpg

Can I post this photo on Facebook under the heading "Do not use Kwik Fit!"  ?

My local place is Fields Tyres - the exact opposite of Kwik Fit, with good price deals and, so far as I can tell, the same little group of skilled fitters every time I go.

It won't only be the fitter in trouble, the manager will get his arse kicked for this big time,I thought policy with kwik fit was that a second person had to check the wheel with a torque wrench and sign it off,I wouldn't set foot in a kwik fit if they were giving stuff away, they're always under so much pressure for sales your just pound signs to them.

RAC? Second monkey managed to destroy the tank on my bike transporting it 2 miles home, £700 loss. This was after the first monkey managed to destroy the electronic ignition module by shorting it out after I asked him to leave it alone. £200 loss

(I knew what the fault was but had no tools and had just come out of the gym and totally cream crackered, otherwise I would have walked home and got what was necessary to fix it).

Response from Office? "No we didn't", and "it was your fault".

NEVER EVER have anything to do with these retards.
