Sorry Amanda, think you got the wrong end of the stick.

I was just comparing base price with the affect of spec up (configuration) and comparison against demo / used older model/ spec.

Not interested in wasting time trying to convince you about the R .

Long past that.

Enjoy your M135i when it arrives.

Ok, no probs :)

Just bought an M-performance Exhaust today. Can't wait to get it fitted, hopefully will sound even more of a beast! Will get some pics up once she arrives ;-)

Sod the pics (as they say), we need video!!!!! The MP exhaust is a fantastic addition  . I listened to several on YouTube and revelled in the crackles and growls :) The only thing that concerned me, was how much louder is the car was on the motorway (valve closed).

Haha, yeah will get a vid up! Mine has only been on a motorway once since I bought it last July so shouldn't be too much if an issue if it's louder in that scenario but we'll see. :-) bring on the pops and crackles!

Loud exhaust doesn't go with badge removal for stealth M135i - Facelift model. Mature look and sound?

Or does it?

Any more bang for your bucks as well as noise?

When do the BOOM BOOM speakers / amp get fitted to the enhance the already beefed up sound system?

Just right for Cornwall coast prom! lol

I don't intend to get one, but they don't look so much different to the standard exhaust, slightly bigger, but mainly, they have a stainless finish instead of the black finish of the OEM

Or are you not referring to my car??????????

Btw your link doesn't appear to work

Your car, as you mentioned your spec for the Facelift was without Badges I seem to recall..

Only the rear badge. The front is unique to the M135 so that is a bit of a giveaway to the anoraks. Also the exhaust isn't super quiet in stock form, so I can't ever go totally stealth anyway.

Have you been on the Ale today Keith?!

Doubt there will be any performance increase. It's mainly just for the enhanced noise and different look.

Official BMW upgrade so warranty is fully maintained which is nice :-)

No plans for any BoomBoom sound system haha. The optional HK system is meaty enough already lol.

Wow, that's good value. Did you suffer from corroding tips (or is that too personal :D )

Yeah total bargain. Cotswold BMW are offering them on a special deal at the moment (see their forum sponsor page on BBMW). I was thinking about getting a BCS catback but when this deal came up it was too good to turn down tbh. Delivery expected Tuesday, can't wait. Get one, you know it makes sense lol!

I have a very mild pitting on my drivers side tip, which is the one that usually gets affected as it gets more abuse during cold start. It's barely noticeable tho :-)

I like the sharper edge to the note, as well as the gurgles, rasps and growls :) Do you need to cut the old exhaust off? I have a feeling I read that somewhere

Yeah the old one needs to get cut off as it's a one-piece system from the factory. Shouldn't be a problem tho. Will be able to just sleeve it back on when I come to sell then put the MPE up for sale to recoup some of the cost :-)

I've heard the BCS one. It sounds very impressive, but I don't think I could live with it, I'm too old now :D

Shhhh..........................apparently it's not a proper BMW as it's 4WD......................... :bandit:

mind you it's cheaper than owning two cars, one for summer & an old Japanese 4wd for winter.................................... :hi:

I think BMW UK will bring the X-drive M135I over to compete with the Golf "R" or Audi for all weather one car solutions in the premium hatch market................
