Had a fantastic afternoon blast out and about with my fellow Cornish M135i-buddies yesterday. Drove from Truro to

Newquay (watergate bay) then out towards Padstow. Windows-down listening to all those straight-sixes winding along the coast road in the sunshine was lovely!

  • Ok so here it is, side by side comparison of M-Perf and Stock M135i exhausts. A mate of mine owns the white car, the grey one is mine. :-)

Good review although I disagree with their conclusion although I am a tad biased lol. Interesting the M135i is more expensive over there. In the UK by the time you factor in discounts the M135i is a lot cheaper.

Even after a Bhuna & some bottles of Cobra and allowing for the fact i like Fungly,

The Hatch 1 series is just too much like a Bread Van.

So it would have to be a Saloon for me,

& not being a driving god and allowing for how rainy it is here, a Front Wheel driver is a better bet.

(& 3 more points and i will be banned, so i might as well get a Mini 3 cylinder sadly.)

So i will have to get my thrills on the Small Screen.

Ummm bhuna and cobra..... Now there's an idea - curry and beers after Santapod Fabia vRS meet?

Love that vid. Lost count of the amount of times I watched it whilst waiting for mine to arrive!

Bit weird them putting that out now I agree! They have been reviewing the M135i since 2012 lol. It seems like a joined together review from previous ones as I recall reading parts of it on different occasions.

Still a nice write up though!

My M-lite badly needs a wash at the moment. Major dirty-bum situation going on..... :-)

Great vid of the M135i. Apparently the euro-only 4wd x-drive variant.....

Good that the UK is in Europe then!

Xdrive?

Why?

Surely if going sideways is the aim, Xdrive isnt on the cards?

Haha, I meant mainland Europe only (I.e excluding the UK) ;-)

I suppose some people might like the extra traction and wet weather ability of x-drive but I was surprised at the end of the video to see they had used an xdrive car! I guess that might have been their point tho.... Maybe to reassure the RWD loving customers that you can still get the back end out on an xdrive lol!?

Xdrive is apparently a Rear-biased system (compared to the primarily front driven Golf R etc). Don't know if that adds to the fun factor or not....

Looks to me like some of those slides are handbraked to kick it out ;).

Rear biased Is the way forward. The thing proper super cars are made of ;).

Yeah, using a professional driver on a closed road/track isn't really representative of how the average joe drives on the road is it?

Having said that I know one or two people (inc my slightly mad van-driving brother) who aren't afraid to indulge in abit of handbrake-action on the public highway! Lol
