It'll deffo be more eco than the V6, but all things considered with the tuning etc it might've been better to go for the boosted model,

Anyway, hope it turns out all you desire and you enjoy it, it's a pumpy little unit anyway tbh.

Thanks mate, I'm looking forward to picking it up and getting cracking.

The Haldex 4 fitted to your car provides a minimum of 2% drive to each rear wheel all the times unlike earlier versions.

Well you learn something new everyday.

I've heard good things about the newer Haldex 4, the constant 2% drive to all wheels is new :)

It's also more advanced in that it can send more power to the rear when required without having to get slip on the front tyres.

I have the 1.8tsi 4x4 and it's a fantastic engine and car. mpg wise your looking at less than 30 most of the time, but like you I don't do many miles so I don't mind so much.

I love the engine though, and remapped you can add another 35bhp with not much effect on mpg from what I hear.

The main thing is the stability of the 4x4. In the wet it just takes off and I find it feels very safe on the road. I can't wait for some snow/ice to see how it handles that.

£265 tax which makes me cry, especially since my ex bosses Audi TT tfsi is £200. But it makes me smile though, every time I drive it. Oh, and beating boy racer's at the lights is great. Any questions let me know
