So maybe a Bong tonight or tomorrow morning in the UK.

Featured Replies

Forecasts for temps near freezing tonight in parts of the UK tonight, certainly below 4*oC.

A bit early into Autumn or not even out o Summer for a 'lowest Thread',

but seeing as it is a Bank Holiday weekend with people camping and stuff,

maybe anyone could call the first 'Low temp warning on their car in the UK in August.

I assume it's a Scottish thing. No low temp warnings round here just yet

I've regained consciousness a few times holding tightly onto one of those

covered in unpleasant smelling whisky....

LOL

Youth...... :D

a Bong? Didn't have you down as a pot-head, George.

Gotta say. I did have cannabis in mind when i opened this.

I'm not into the stuff myself, but each to their own!

No mind altering substances currently being consumed. Looking forward to the heady smell of high octane Fuel later on though.

When i left Forfar it was just above 4*oC, and on the A9 past Auchterarder & Blackford it is just above 2*oC.

A beautiful night, and looks like it will be a great day for the BTCC at Knockhill.

2.1*oC was the lowest that came up, but wonderfully dry, and the cold air has the engine running very efficiently.

5C this morning. Certainly felt a nip in the air.

Now remembering that dervs take an age to put out hot air :-(

No bong this morning. Not sure if the Honda does it or what temp it goes off at.

Thats it then summers over, Tattie Holidays, & Bong time again.

Just above 2 *oC now tonight.

Another 10 days until winter fuel starts being delivered as well.

Lovely and sunny here, though it did slash it down yesterday.

Glad you mentioned the winter fuel, might be needing that here. Dad's still got diesel in his car that he bought in August (1.9SDI and 4k miles a year!).

Went out last night in the Westfield, woolly hat was required.

The citigo flashed up low temp on my way to work last Wednesday

4 *C ? thats a good summer on tyneside, when it drops to -3 C the weekend drinkers in Newcastle will be thinking of putting their tee shirts back on..... i just hope that the men follow suit.

Best regards to all

I got a Bong in the BMW 116d hire car I had in Austria, but I was driving up the Grossglockner High Alpine road at the time.....it Bonged at +3 not +4 that VAG cars do....

1.5C this morning as I drove home from Glasgow this morning.

Winter tyres are going on this Friday during its service.

I don't know what temp at or even if the Honda bongs for ice.

It bongs at everything else. It'll be a surprise :peek:
