  • There's a lot of you out there that have faith that the police would have collared him.... Yeah right... I'd have waited for him to come back then taken a crowbar to him Nd giving him a good shoeing.

  • he ain't yet i found the car parked up took it with spare key and got his phone gunna do abit of digging myself then let the police do what ever they do if anything

That's a good sign IMO!

Just shows it hasn't been a professional job, stolen, loaded Into a truck or coverd on a trailer then to a unit to be striped / exported etc...

If they've been caught joyriding about in it chances are they will be seen again.

Just hope they don't like fields and fire!! :(

Scum bags.

Hope you get it back and it's ok when ya do.

Heading up Rhondda valleys later, will keep eyes peeled and enthusiastically follow if spotted :D

Ps. Reg? And where was it spotted?

Really sorry to hear about this, my partner had her modified classic mini stolen this year and after a joy ride they thought that nobody else should use it again and it was torched.

I hope you get it back because it is really gutting when you know how much work has gone into something, and its one of those things where if they catch them they should get a bit more than a couple of months and a driving ban.

Far from the shop?

Glad it was a dopey pr£ck who stolen it from you, was it a local scumbag who stole the car? Can sort the wheels out easy enough.

Glad to hear you have it back in one piece.

Sounds like stolen to order, knew about the car, where it was and about the hazards to get the car away..

Glad he's been caught! Took a detour on the way up to the GFs house last night along the A470 as I was expecting it to be somewhere along there but hopefully he gets what he deserves

Left the car blocked in I hope?

Junkies, alway the same, permanently addled brains.

Glad you got it back. I suppose the little scumbag will just get a slap on the wrist and told not to be a naughty boy again.

Good that its been found, but you should have really let the police deal with it first. Taking it with the spare is the worst thing you could have done, important fingerprints could have been lost or other evidence. I'd get onto the police ASAP, before you find yourself in as much trouble as the thief, they could well think that it was not stolen at all and you were playing a game with them.

Careful you don't get into trouble for removing the car from where you found it because i think the Police can get a bit funny as it's reported stolen. They may want to fingerprint it as well but i'm not an expert.

Glad its been found.

This

There's no prizes for being a vigilante or a DIY Hercule Poirrot

Hopefully the police will dust it for prints, as the phone alone won't be enough to proove he stole it or been in it, as he'll just say he lost the phone on Friday.

Well done finding it, was it a tip off or just luck you came across it?

So what if he took it back it's what we'd all do!

Nothing will come of a conviction so it's better he has the car. Some new wheels or a refurb and carry on.
