After 15 or so minutes of fun in Sports Mode my oil temperature seems to run high but, what is too high ?.  Talking 110-112 sorta range.

Anything up to 130 is ok for oil as I understand it.

Same with my VRS, mine never goes any higher though!

No problem sir, report to the nearest police station, we will sort this out.

If the engine oil temperature is in the range 80-110 °C, the engine operating temperature
is reached.
If the temperature lies below 80 °C or above 110 °C, avoid high engine revs, full
throttle and high engine loads."

Oh the manual, didn't think of that did we! I suspect 90% of questions on forums can be answered with it though! Nice work

Whats the advantage of doing this?

 

I've just installed co2 spray system on my vrs just to cool down Ic. But the bad thing it almost freezes up the radiator and the water temp sensor goes bananas. Need more antifreezes I think oil dropped from 120 to 89 in 2min, hope it won't build up condensed water in the oil.
