Thanks for the kind words. Well the mapper recons I could probably see a clean 290BHP running less boost at around 2.7 Bar. As long as the Smoke is reduced and the juddering due to the mapping of the current injectors I will be happy

Make sure you supply everyone in the rolling road building with a gas mask!!!!

As the smoke and soot will do them no good at all !

Hmmm We have a problem. Put new discs on however drivers side I have managed to strip the thread out of the hub carrier  Not the caliper itself. I have managed to get it to grip the hub carrier and used locktight for now.

 

However I am getting mixed opinions

Some say leave it as so I don't strip any remaining thread out

 

some say helicoil the caliper and the hub carrier

 

or buy a new hubcarrier and hubbearing but the cheapest I can get these for is £134.88 for carrier and £110 for hub bearing through TPS

 

any advice??/

I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to brakes.

What about just getting a decent second hand hub?

Try and source a second hand hub carrier off a breaker, should be sub £50.I didn't need the brake carrier on mine, but I know they can be expensive to source. I'll try and send you link, I got pair for £40 when I upgraded to bigger brakes.

If Stephen needs a hub I will be donating one as I have a few pairs in the depot.

Well went to Hayes Engineering with about 15 friends today for a bit of a day out

My fabia ran a very impressive 276.9 bhp and 408 ftlb!

My old fabia which i gave to the misses ran a 165bhp and 292ftlb

Will upload pictures and videos in a bit. was a very cold long day but the figures were worth the wait and a good selection of friends cars there participating for the day

Yes should be good to see. I put a man called Chris Recardo onto you for some help regarding mapping by the way hope you don't mind.He has a fabia Estate with the PD engine.
