Is yours standard?  When I had mine it was a bit lacklustre with the 180bhp but a remap made it much more able to keep up with the Mk2, as long as it was in standard form.

No mines mapped with few mods keeps with a focus st lol

I say keeps didnt have another lane to pass him and yh was withing the speed limit for those who frown upon goin over limit

Makes sense now as the Mk2 was noticeably quicker then the MK1 when both were standard.  Good to see you enjoying the car.

Ive never had one of usual hot hatch suspects pull up at lights next to me (ST, reno sports etc..) best i had was a scirocco 2.0T and i just got blizted

Did have close encounter with a mk3 octy vrs who had seen me on the motorway a1 and sat on my ass, we all slowed for 50mph speed camera we all sped up accordingly my massive tw4t in the mk3 vootes it to undertake me just get i front and almost colided with the car infront me whi had pulled over, he was forced to take tje off ramp towards bedford

Massive bellend all to prove his car is newer and faster.
