Columbus Shutting Off

Featured Replies

This morning on my commute to work the Columbus unit turned itself off inexplicably. It had operated flawlessly prior to that, so I'm hoping it was a one off glitch. Anyone else had this type of issue?

My columbus won't route the phone calls to car speakers sometimes. I hasn't shut down on me yet.

Yep, it's happened to me once, along with a couple of other issues.

Mine has had the following issues:

  • No voice prompts while using sat nav, music mutes but no voice prompt even though volume was high. Next journey the voice prompts came back.
  • Bluetooth would not connect to phone or tablet to play music but I could make and receive voice calls. Next day functionality came back.
  • While in Netherlands on the morning I was due to drive home the Sat Nav would not work, some message about No valid navigation data found. Once I got to the port in Calais I found the option to reset the Navigation system. Once in Dover the Sat Nav worked!

Only had the car just over a month but it still has almost 2 years warranty left so I am not too worried just yet.

Yea Hi I am the same. Unite going off intermittingly for a month or so and now finally died.

Has any one got any ideas how to fix this issue?
