I just learned I have a big evening event on tje 2nd May. Luckily Bedford Autodrome is very close and it is the 10am session so shiuld be OK. I need to keep improving my time with lots of people supping up their cars!

what is this as i have no clue???

the jist of it is you have a tracker fitted to the numberplate of you car, then an hour practice session driving around Bedford Autodromes West Circuit, then after the practice session is complete, each driver goes out on their own and does 4 laps. 1 warm up, 2 hot and 1 cool down.

 

Then your time is posted onto the leader board for bragging rights

Last year there was a Citigo on track

With the proximity of Castle Combe sessions, I would be reluctant for 2nd May, but then leave it much later and you start conflicting with the National Trackday at Rockingham on 21st June....

am waiting for MSV to come back with a new offer of something in June when they've got their calendar in order

Weirdly, if it happened to be 20th June (day before the National) I still think I would as would be quite open to thrashing around Bedford for an hour or so on the Saturday, then head straight over to Rockingham whilst still being in the neighbourhood (kind of, at least compared to Devon!)

How Fast and thrashing round Combe is OK, but How Fast and thrashign round Rockingham isn't ?

^^ What a great idea!  Jason it is not true what they all say about you     Genius.   I would do both days.

I don't think Rockingham will be as stressful on the car as say a full day at Combe would be.  I would consider How Fast to be a warm-up, and then I'd already be 5/6 the way to Rockingham so would tootle on over there from Bedford.
