 MSV did not post last years times on there website either.

Me too - I will commit to 2nd May if that's what it is looking like.

I need to confirm with the guy first thing in the morning as he was off today.

But 10am is most likely, they had that complately free when I spoke to them a few days ago.

More importantly, we need to locate a pub that is open, being ferried about in the Brisk Yeti last year was enjoyable but unnecessary, so who is local to Bedford and where should we go for lunch and to make our excuses for being slow?

Traditionally I screw up my 2nd (typically quicker :p) hot lap anyway.

Year 1: Fabia completely sideways on the last corner.

Year 2: Red Yeti drift on last corner, ESP brought me almost to a halt.

Year 3: Blue Yeti missed gear change coming out of hairpin, 2nd-3rd.

Year 4: ???

Year 4, eagerness to power out the 180' turn sees a yeti four wheel drifting on to the other circuit?

Held at Bedford Autodrome everyone gets an hours practise to learn the track and then 2 individual timed laps to set the fastest possible time.
Fastest lap "wins" and getts bragging rights over the rest of the forum! :p

Circuit looks like this:



Maximum attendence is only 18 cars

The timed element adding a competitive edge and the hour and a bit running meaning it's not as car killing as a full track day, while being a lot of fun.

 

Don't forget (for those that want to go, usually about 50%) we will be off the pub afterwards for lunch.

I didn't know the Blue Yeti was an automatic so it could be missing gears by itself .

Switch off all the electronic helpers via VCDS and it would be an interesting to see how well it goes - should be blindingly fast with all that power, mahoosive breaking power, 4x4 system and light weight!

Oh yes, I certainly will be booking in. Will not miss yeti going round the corners on two wheel for the world .

By that time I will have RARB and I will switch the electronic nanny off so expect me spinning off like a spinning top!
