  • Some photos from today.   Not many action shots as Bedford does have any public trackside access and my camera isn't really up to modern day standards.   All shots therefore from pit lane, most ar

  • Unlikely, I'm quite slow apparently. I just do well because I have a flash car.

Added date and venue to the title. :)

I will book when I am in work tomorrow.  Looking forward to it now

I'll try to make this one, but there's two potential hurdles

1. It's SWMBO's birthday

2. I don't know how my treatment will be going, as I'll have started my infusion sessions by then

On that basis I can't even put myself down as a possible at the moment

number 1 don't matter :x

number 2 does, hope all goes well

I've asked for time off :)

How friendly is this for "I've never been on a track day before but always wanted to?" kind of people like me?? :D

Made for it

Massive run offs, like-minded people who don't want to stove their cars in, couldn't be better to lose your track cherry

^^^^^ agreed, and its not too hard on your car either, a relatively "slow"  track , nothing to hit, not many cars on track at any time, and just brisky members :) (plus its only an hour, so you are not really going to wear anything too much :) )

Just spoken to the woman of power (my boss) and she can't work the 2nd which means I have to, perhaps next year

post #1 updated with the map and vague info from last year

I won't be attending this year as i'm on holiday

look forward to reading/seeing the fall out though

Gone are the times when Richard's Yeti was jsut stage 1 mapped and I could trade times with him - no chance for that now!

Guys, I have a request?

To make up the numbers would it be ok if a mate mine brings his MK 2 Escort? He is fitting the tarmac suspension for this year and doing some single events, How Fast would be a great venue for it, if the Briskoda people would allow him in?

Also what is the sound limit at Bedford?

Noise limit at Bedford is 101 static, 87.5 drive by. If the Escort keeps the noise down, bring it :D

The more the merrier!

would love to see an old mark II escort :)

Just added mine name with MSV. Looking forward to it. Anyone else making the short journey from Milton Keynes?

I personally have no problem at all with that James.

But when it comes to looking at the times afterwards I personally would reshuffle the list to Skodas only.

Otherwise any of us could just turn up in a GT-R and smash everyone else.  (or an Evo ;))

That's what I did last year, I removed the RS that was on the same session and came first.

I hope everyone is OK with that and doesn't see me as being biased, because I'm possibly in with a chance of "winning".

If there are spaces left closer to the day I might try and get a few Fiesta STs along.

Does everyone not get lumped in engine sizes or is it on models? Would make more sence to me if all the 1.6tdi were together and all the 2.5tsi for example ;)

After all its a briskoda.net event so if anyone does show up in a non skoda, they should be excluded from the unofficial competition on the day. Was the same with the tt-rs we had in a previous session with us, but I was only 1.5 seconds behind him. :D
